OPENING MY STUDIO
Using natural and urban environments as starting points, I create fractured, luminous narratives
through laser-cut layered plexiglass. My process begins with drawing or photography, then
evolves into geometric abstraction as I fragment landscapes into angular, crystalline forms—
from botanical chaos to geological shifts.
Each composition uses precise laser-cutting to transform flowing organic forms into structured,
jewel-like fragments. I construct three layers: a printed paper back layer and two laser-cut
plexiglass front layers, activated by LED lighting to create prismatic effects that shift with
viewing angle.
These layered compositions fragment and reconstruct familiar spaces—cityscapes, forests,
geological formations—exploring how landscapes can be deconstructed and reassembled
through light and color. The work invites viewers to experience new ways of seeing the
relationship between order and chaos, reve
